McCartney Project Management, Inc. was hired by VISTA Theater’s new ownership in April 2022 to manage the design, construction, and execution of reinstating a century-old and beloved classic Hollywood Theater property.
The VISTA Theater located at 4473 Sunset Drive Los Angeles, reopened in November of 2023, 100 years after its original opening as Bard’s Hollywood Theatre on October 9, 1923.
Project Details
VISTA’s new ownership set the energy and tone for the revival of this beloved Theater Property. The VISTA project team members collectively invested in the vision, recognized the rare opportunity, and delivered this property back to its grandeur for generations of film audiences to appreciate. Screenings include 70MM film projection and unprecedented premium surround sound. In addition, Vista screenings will include the Director’s personal archived prints. The VISTA Theater reinstatement project reintroduces this historic property to welcome members of greater Los Angeles communities and visitors worldwide. After one hundred years of entertaining, the Theater has reopened to entertaining for the next hundred years.
